The reviewer

The clinical reviewer for patient-facing medical content on this website is Dr. Mahboob Ahmad, MBBS, FCPS (Medicine), Consultant Physician and Diabetes Specialist, Lahore.

What our labels mean

An article shows "Medically reviewed by Dr. Mahboob Ahmad" only after he has actually reviewed that article. Until then, the article honestly shows "Medical review pending". We never claim a review that has not happened.

If a reviewed article receives a significant medical edit, the reviewed label is withdrawn until it has been re-reviewed.

Review cycle

Clinical articles are re-checked at least every twelve months, or sooner when medical guidance changes. Seasonal content, such as Ramadan fasting guidance, is refreshed ahead of each season.
